UP Adventure - DeTour, Michigan

Days 7,8 and 9 of our Road trip around Michigan's UP. DeTour State Campground is located on the east side of the peninsula.This is a very beautiful spot. The campground is rustic but they do have a couple of vaulted toilets and a well. Our campsite was walking distance to Lake Huron. There is a trail that takes you down the shoreline that is amazing. The hike is about 1.5 miles and the kids were able to do it easily.
